Itinerary
Day 1 – Sept. 15: Depart for Scotland: Your Scottish adventure begins as you board your international flight bound for Glasgow. Get ready to explore the rich history, dramatic landscapes, and cultural wonders that await you in this remarkable country.
Day 2 – Sept. 16: Arrival in Glasgow – Stirling Castle & Wallace Monument: Upon arrival at Glasgow Airport, meet your English-speaking guide and driver before transferring to Stirling. Enjoy breakfast at a local café or hotel before visiting the iconic Stirling Castle, a symbol of Scottish independence perched high above the countryside. Later, visit the National Wallace Monument, honoring the legendary Scottish hero William Wallace. Marvel at panoramic views stretching to Edinburgh before checking into your hotel for dinner and a restful night in the Stirling area.
Day 3 – Sept. 17: Stirling to Glencoe: Depart Stirling this morning and travel through stunning
Highland scenery. Enjoy a photo stop at scenic Loch Lomond before arriving at Inveraray Castle, the grand home of the Duke of Argyll and featured in “Downton Abbey.” Continue along the dramatic edge of Rannoch Moor en route to Fort William. Check into your hotel in the Glencoe area for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Sept. 18: Jacobite Steam Train Experience: Today features an unforgettable journey aboard the Jacobite Steam Train—made famous by the Harry Potter films. Enjoy the picturesque ride through the Highlands on this
historic railway. Spend the rest of the day relaxing in the Glencoe area with dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 5 – Sept. 19: Glencoe to Inverness via Eilean Donan & Loch Ness: Depart Glencoe and head
toward Inverness. Stop to visit the world-famous Eilean Donan Castle, dramatically situated where three sea lochs meet. Continue to Loch Ness for a cruise and exploration of Urquhart Castle, a spectacular ruin rich in history and legend. End your day in Inverness for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Sept. 20: Culloden Battlefield & Journey to Edinburgh: This morning, visit the powerful Culloden
Battlefield, site of the final Jacobite uprising. Learn about the battle that forever changed Highland life. Then stop for lunch and a stroll in charming Pitlochry before visiting a whisky distillery. Arrive in Edinburgh and check in to your hotel for the night.
Day 7 – Sept. 21: Discover Edinburgh: Begin your day with a guided walking tour through Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town and historic Old Town. Visit the majestic Edinburgh Castle, perched on an ancient volcanic rock. Later, enjoy a refined afternoon tea at the Scottish Café before spending the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in
Edinburgh.
Day 8 – Sept. 22: Leisure Day in Edinburgh: Enjoy a full day to explore Edinburgh at your own pace. Whether you choose museums, shopping, or simply soaking in the city’s rich atmosphere, this is your day to unwind and enjoy. Overnight in Edinburgh.
Day 9 – Sept. 23: Day Trip to Northern England: Today’s excursion takes you south into England to the mystical Holy Island of Lindisfarne, accessible only during low tide. Visit the historic Lindisfarne Priory before continuing to Alnwick Castle and Gardens, known for its magical beauty and film appearances. Return to Edinburgh for the
festive Spirit of Scotland show—an evening of music, dance, and traditional Scottish fare. Overnight in Edinburgh.
Day 10 – Sept. 24: Farewell Scotland: After breakfast, transfer to Edinburgh Airport for your flight home, bringing with you cherished memories of your incredible journey through Scotland and Northern England.
