Itinerary

Day 1 Today we begin our tour by boarding our motorcoach to enjoy a relaxing drive up to Northern California. Making stops along the way until we arrive at the Embassy Suite Waterfront Hotel just south of San Francisco for two nights.

Day 2 Begin the day by traveling across the Golden Gate Bridge and through the amazing coastal mountains of Marin County. While enjoying magnificent views of the San Francisco Bay and valleys. Then, we will take a shuttle to Muir Woods National Monument. These ancient groves of Giant Redwoods (Sequoia Sempervirens) tower over Redwood Creek. After, we will stop for Lunch in Sausalito, a town known for being comparable to a Mediterranean fishing village.  Finish the day at the iconic Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39 with the sea lions, waterfront shopping, and restaurants. B

Day 3 This morning, experience the 17-Mile Drive, one of America’s most scenic routes, showcasing the Monterey peninsula’s rocky shoreline and coastal forests. Traveling along, you will be treated to cypress trees hung heavy with Spanish moss, sea otters resting in coastal kelp forests, and sandy beaches nestled between rocky Cliffsides. View the number one golf course in America, Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove. Visit Cannery Row, a waterfront street once full of sardine canneries; today, it’s full of unique boutiques and restaurants. We continue to San Luis Obispo and check in at the hotel. Our evening plans are to visit downtown San Luis Obispo Farmer’s Market, five blocks of 100 vendors of fresh produce from local farms, delicious food vendors, homemade crafts, baked goods, and street entertainment. B

Day 4 We leave our hotel and travel south until we arrive in Solvang. The Danish Capital of
America. You will have time to shop and have lunch on your own. As we depart for home, we can reflex on all the exciting moments, interesting sights, new friends and enjoyable times
experienced during this very special trip. B
