Day 1 We begin the day flying to San Francisco, “The City by the Bay.” Staying 4 nights at the Embassy Suites Hotel San Francisco Airport. Spend your time at the welcome dinner meeting your fellow travelers on the tour. D

Day 2 Today we enjoy a comprehensive City Tour of San Francisco, giving you a taste of its infectious energy. Hear the entertaining  stories about this great city while visiting the Golden Gate Bridge, the Presidio, Union Square, Ghirardelli Square and more. Enjoy a Harbor Cruise and a visit to Sausalito which is easily mistaken for a Mediterranean fishing village. B

Day 3  Explore San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.  Start with a visit to the Japanese Tea Gardens. Then choose between: 1) The California Academy of Sciences which combines an Aquarium, Planetarium, Rainforest and The Natural History Museum under the living roof.  2) The  de Young Museum which is known for its fine arts collection. The Museum specializes in American, African, New Guinea and Oceania Art spanning the 17th to the 20th Century. Then enjoy spending some time along the waterfront of Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39.  B

Day 4   Today we explore California’s most prestigious wine region, Napa and Sonoma Valleys.  These crown jewels of California’s wine country are chock-full of scenic vistas, charming towns, excellent restaurants and welcoming vintners. We will explore two local wineries and enjoy wine tastings during our tour. B

Day 5  The morning begins with breakfast to prepare us for our journey home. We are then transferred to the airport for the flight home. As you sit back and reflect on your fun-filled tour of this lovely city, you may feel the same as its theme song “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” as sung by the great Tony Bennett and Frank
Sinatra. B
