Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Thursday,  Jan 18 – Begin our adventure by traveling to Laughlin NV. Get ready to experience the charm of this vibrant resort town located on the banks of the Colorado River.  We arrive at our hotel where we spend 3 nights at the Aquarius Hotel & Casino.

Day 2 Friday,  Jan 19 – Begin the morning at Lake Havasu Balloon Festival,
offering a colorful and captivating display against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Havasu and the surrounding desert landscape. Enjoy the Mass Ascension of the balloons into the sky simultaneously, filling the air with a kaleidoscope of colors. Our seating is in the VIP section which includes breakfast and a private area to sit and enjoy the spectacle.  Afterward we will visit the iconic London Bridge on our way to Oatman, Arizona a Route 66 highlight where donkeys “run the town”.  It’s truly an experience not to be missed. Return to our hotel, it will be a leisurely
evening for your enjoyment. B

Day 3 Saturday, Jan 20 – This morning is yours to do as you please. We spend the
afternoon in Kingman, AZ and have a docent lead tour of the Mojave Museum and a self-guided tour of the Route 66 Museum, located in the Powerhouse Visitor Center.  Then return to the Lake Havasu Balloon Festival, to enjoy one of the most
awe-inspiring and magical moments of the festival with the Balloon Glow. This is a visual treat where you will see an explosion of colors made even more vibrant by the hot gas fired in the balloon. Dinner will be included and our VIP seating. D

Day 4 Sunday, Jan 21 – Today we say good-bye to the Colorado River and Laughlin NV and travel through the beautiful desert landscapes for home.  We will be taking with us memories of a fun filled time.
