Day 2  This morning we travel on the Trans-Canada Hwy 1 to Kamloops, British Columbia. In Kamloops we will visit the British Columbia Wildlife Park, a facility for educational conservation programs and animal rehabilitation. The animal enclosures are spacious and similar to those where the animals may have lived in the wild. Some animals you will see up close are Moose, Grizzly Bear, Badgers, and The Spirit Bear. The new Discovery Center in the park is an educational experience with exhibits on the animals in the park. Overnight stay in Kamloops. (B)

Day 3 Kamloops to Banff: Our journey continues eastward into the amazing Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Along the Trans-Canadian Hwy 1 you can sit back and take in the amazing scenery of lakeshores, ranchlands, mountain passes and snowcapped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Two night stay in Banff. (B, D)

Day 4 Banff National Park & Lake Louise: Today holds a full day of sightseeing as we take in the many scenic stops of Lake Louise and Banff National Park. Our local guide will provide us with interesting information beginning with Banff National Park. Some of the sights in this park are Bow Falls, the Surprise Corner on Tunnel Mountain Drive, and Sulphur Mountain’s peak. We continue on to Lake Louise as we travel along the Bow Valley Parkway passing Hole-in-the-Wall, Johnston Canyon, and magnificent Castle Mountain. For over a century explorers have been making this trip to the towering mountain peaks and icy blue glaciers. At Lake Louise you will have a chance to explore the shoreline in sight of the “Jewel of the Canadian Rockies”. To enhance your tour even more, the Sulphur Mountain gondola ride (7,500 Ft summit) gives you a panoramic view of the entire Bow Valley. (For anyone who cannot experience the gondola ride, your guide will make other arranged stops to give you the scenic view of this area. (B)

Day 5 Kalispell, MT: This morning we depart Banff National Park and travel south to cross the border of the United States into the state of Montana. Our travels today will be relaxing and give you a chance to view the scenic roadway with prairie lands, lakes, and mountains in the distance. This will give you the feel of the real Canadian and Montana back country. Our next two nights will be in Kalispell. (B)

Day 6 Glacier National Park: This morning we enter Montana’s famous Glacier National Park. We board the unique restored 1930’s coaches “Red Jammers” to give you a sightseeing adventure in this incredible national park. Your tour will take in the amazing sights of meadows, mountains, forest’s, lakes and wildlife. This tour will include a fascinating narration of the area along with scenic photo stops. There will be a lunch stop in St. Mary’s (lunch on your own.) The evening will include an enjoyable farewell dinner. (B, D)

Day 7 Kalispell, MT to Missoula, Airport: This morning we leave Kalispell and travel south with a shore line view along Flathead Lake, one of the largest natural freshwater lakes. There is an island in the middle of this lake called “Wild Horse Island,” and yes – there are actual wild horses living there along with bighorn sheep. As we make our way to the Missoula Airport to board our flight for home, think of the wonderful memories you have gained of Canada and the United States, and the mountain landscapes of the National Parks and Glaciers.
